What does Great Lakes Logistics Group do?

Great Lakes Logistics Group LLC is a Detroit-based cross dock and load handling operation. We handle cross docking, transloading, warehousing, distribution and pallet repair for shippers moving freight through the Great Lakes region.

Do you offer same-day cross dock?

Yes. Same-day cross dock is available at our Detroit facility. Get us the load details in advance and we will have your freight turned and back on the road the same day.

What kind of loads do you take on?

Palletised and floor-loaded freight, containers for transloading, and the awkward loads other docks turn away. If you are not sure, call us with the details.

Are you a licensed carrier or broker?

Not yet. Our MC Authority and freight brokerage division is in progress and launching soon, which will let us move freight nationwide. Today we operate as a cross dock and load handling facility.

How is your pricing calculated?

Pricing depends on the number of pallets or the load size, how the freight is handled, and how long it stays with us. We quote per load or per pallet up front, with no hidden fees.

Do you offer warehousing and storage?

Yes. We provide short and long-term storage, staging and regional distribution, fully integrated with our cross dock operations.

Do you repair pallets?

Yes. We handle on-site pallet repair, restacking, rewrapping and relabeling so your freight ships out compliant and intact.
